Bistro Milano, nestled in the heart of Manhattan at 1350 6th Ave, is a beacon for Italian cuisine lovers seeking a delightful dining experience. Customers rave about the exquisite food and the warm, inviting ambiance. Giovanni Jotz captures the sentiment perfectly, recommending it for its “quality food in a cozy and beautiful environment.”
The standout dish for many is the lasagna, as highlighted by Mike Ridolfi, who describes it as "crisp and extremely flavorful," despite a minor temperature hiccup. The wine selection may lean on the pricier side, but it mirrors the quality of the dishes, setting the stage for intimate date nights. Charles Grande appreciates the newly redecorated space while noting the consistent high standard of food and professional service, punctuated by the owner's hands-on management.
Service is a highlight, particularly with the notable Ben-Hur, who brings an infectious energy and extensive experience to the table. Nancy Wong commends the exceptional 12 oz steak special and the knowledgeable staff, confirming it as a must-visit spot. Bistro Milano seamlessly blends excellent cuisine with a nurturing atmosphere, making it a perfect destination for both casual outings and special evenings. Indulging here is an experience well worth repeating.

The food and service is beyond excellent. The lasagna was crisp and extremely flavorful. The wine isn't necessarily cheap, but it doesn't taste cheap either. Perfect for a date night or a glass of wine and dessert. The lasagna was slightly not to temperature in the center, but it was so excellent I did not want to send it back. If you are in the area and are in need of an Italian joint, it would be hard to beat this place.

Great place. Recently redecorated but same great food and professional service. The Owner is always there so it runs like a top. My favorite quiet after work stop in for a drink.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight. The 12 oz steak special was superb and our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. His name is Ben-Hur. This restaurant has our highest recommendation!

Enjoyed Bistro Milano for lunch. Seafood pasta options are excellent. I had the clam linguini and tasted the seafood pasta. Flavorful and filling. Seafood was fresh and sweet. White wine garlic sauce on the linguini was a little heavy, but worked well with the dish.

Go where the Italians go, I always say. This restaurant sandwiched between offices and tourist attractions draws a different crowd during the week than the weekend. I like the quality of the food, the ambiance and the fact that they don't close down between lunch and dinner. They recognize that working crowds sometimes miss the 12-2:30 window and keep staff on the accommodate us.

Excellent service. Attentive staff. Complimentary snack was delicious. Cocktails could have been better but one was kindly replaced free of charge. Very reasonably priced. Decor a little sparse and chairs slightly low but only minor thoughts. Great overall midtown find
